Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path God laid for me
I took his hand and when I heard him call
I turned my back and left it all
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found that place, at the close of day
If my parting has left a viod
Then fill it with remembered joy
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ah, yes these things I too will miss
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow
My life's been full, I savored much
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch
Perhaps my time seemed all to brief
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief
Lift up your heart and share with me
God wanted me now, he set me free

I waited until now to write, because I couldn't find the words, but when I asked my heart to speak. The words came pouring out.
My darling Carlo, how you will be missed
Your tender cheeks can no longer be kissed
Your shoulders carried my children with love
Their hand you held, with the tenderness of a dove
Your care for them was full of compassion
Your tremendous love for them had no ration
When I stand and look out into Tata's backyard
My heart will ache; it's going to be so hard
But I know now you're there watching out for us all
When the kids climb the tree, you will cushion their fall
When the kids take a walk to the pond, every step of the way
"It was Carlo who took us" is what they will say
I know in the sweet breeze, and the sway of the trees
Your cheerful spirit will engulf us, and our pain will ease
Your contagious giggle we will not forget
You'll smile as you read this I bet
Not only now, but also when you were a child
You were quite feisty, at times even wild
With the years you mellowed, such a fine man you became
The girls that surrounded you we could hardly tame
Even in Dubai, many admirers you got
Proudly my girls showed your picture, "see my cousin, he's hot"
I watched you develop through the years
Each moment in time now laden with tears
And now through your quietness and composure we never knew
The passion for tranquility that inside you grew
Well my baby, I pray that you are now at peace
That you have found the serenity to put your heart at ease
We will see you one day in this better place that you are at
But we will miss you till then, you can be sure of that
The memories we've made will stay engraved in my heart
From the end that has come, which was too close to the start!!!

HOW CAN WE GO ON WITHOUT THAT FACE, WITHOUT THAT SMILE, GONE WITHOUT A TRACE.
BROKEN HEARTS CAN NEVER HEAL, I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS REAL.STOP ALL THIS PAIN THAT I FEEL.
IF YOU NEEDED TO TALK I WAS HEAR TO LISTEN, WHAT WERE YOU MISSING?
I WOULD GIVE YOU MY LAST YOU COULD HAVE IT ALL. NOTHING WAS TOO BIG OR TOO SMALL.
I'D GIVE YOU MY EYES IF YOU COULD NOT SEE, I'D GIVE YOU MY HEART IF YOURS FELT EMPTY.
I WOULD HAVE HELD YOU REAL CLOSE IF YOU WERE AFRAID, ANYTHING FOR YOU IF ONLY YOU'D STAYED.
I WOULD HAVE PROTECTED YOU FROM PEOPLE WHO CAUSED YOU HARM, GAVE YOU LUCK, BEEN YOUR LUCKY CHARM.
I'D BE YOUR SHOULDER TO CRY ON OR THE ONE TO MAKE YOU SMILE, JUST TO KNOW YOU'D HAVE STAYED FOR AWHILE.
WHATEVER THE NEED I WOULD HAVE NEVER TURNED YOU AWAY, JUST TO MAKE YOU CHOOSE TO STAY.
IF I COULD HAVE GIVEN YOU THE STARS AND THE MOON MAYBE YOU WOULDN'T HAVE GONE SO SOON.
IF I WOULD HAVE REACHED OUT MY MY ARMS TO HOLD YOU TIGHT, MAYBE YOU'D STILL BE HERE TONIGHT.
MAYBE YOU ASKED, I DIDN'T HEAR YOUR PLEE .BUT NOW YOUR AT PEACE THE LORD HAS SET YOU FREE.
